Happily Ever After
I’ve been quiet, I know—not an easy task with so many exciting things going on—but easier than usual because I’ve never been so darned busy!
For those who’ve been keeping up, you know that I just finished a very different book for me—a contemporary romantic suspense due out in March of 2013. In my editor’s words it’s ”haunting, sometimes beautiful, sometimes threatening” and it’s “terrifyingly good”– can’t wait for release date, as I’ve put heart and soul into this story and the characters are all dear to my heart. The book now has an official name: Speak No Evil will be an e-Kensington March 2013 release. I’m smack in the middle of book two, now titled Tell No Lies, tentatively due out in January 2014. I hope to share the cover for Speak No Evil very soon.
In the meantime, for those of you who are waiting on the e-release of my backlist books, you’ll be happy to hear that early next week you’ll see the first of my backlist go live. Happily Ever After was originally published in 1999 with Avon Books. The new cover is exquisitely designed by Ravven Glass and I couldn’t be more thrilled with it. (After Happily Ever After, the next in line is tentatively The MacKinnon’s Bride. It was so much fun to revisit these characters and I actually found myself laughing out loud as I went through the edits and gave the book a fresh perspective. It made me want to write Kell’s story! (More on that at a later date!)
And there’s even more in the works! I’ve joined an amazing group of women who all write historical romances– The Jewels of Historical Romance. There are twelve of us altogether: Jill Barnett, Annette Blair, Cheryl Bolen, Lucinda Brant, Glynnis Campbell, Colleen Gleason, Danelle Harmon, Brenda Hiatt, Lauren Royal, Lauren Wittig and Cynthia Wright. Together, we’ll be cooking up all sorts of fun, anthologies, offering giveaways and so much more! We’ll have a brand new Web site ready soon and I’ll keep you updated. In the meantime, be sure to sign up for my newsletter to be sure you miss nothing.
Stay posted for Happily Ever After’s new release date!
warmly,
